A cozy Baked Ravioli Casserole with layers of rich marinara, creamy ricotta, and gooey mozzarella, perfect for family gatherings and comforting weeknight meals.

Ingredients

  • 25 oz package of frozen ravioli (cheese or meat)
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Spread a layer of marinara sauce in a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  3. Place half of the ravioli on top of the sauce.
  4. Spread half of the ricotta cheese over the ravioli.
  5. Sprinkle with 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  6. Pour in another layer of marinara sauce, followed by the remaining ravioli, then the remaining ricotta and mozzarella.
  7. Finish with marinara sauce and top with Parmesan cheese.
  8. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  9. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 to 20 minutes until the cheese is bubbly.
  10. Let cool slightly before garnishing with fresh basil.

Notes

Allow the casserole to rest before serving to help the layers set.
