Cafeteria Noodles are a delightful dish featuring egg noodles enveloped in a creamy sauce, ideal for quick family meals.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz egg noodles
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt (adjust to taste)

Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles according to the package instructions, drain, and set aside.
  2. Prepare the sauce by melting butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the cream of chicken soup and chicken broth to the melted butter, along with garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. Stir until combined and bring to a simmer.
  4. Combine the cooked noodles with the sauce, tossing to coat them in the creamy mixture and allowing them to simmer for a few minutes.
  5. Taste and adjust the seasoning as needed before serving.

Notes
