Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye), sliced into strips
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil, divided
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Start by cooking the fettuccine pasta according to the package instructions. Once cooked, drain and set aside.
  2. Add the shrimp to a bowl and coat evenly with 1 tablespoon of Cajun seasoning.
  3. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat, then add the seasoned shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.
  4. Add the remaining 2 tablespoons of olive oil to the same skillet and sear the sliced steak, seasoning with the remaining Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper for 4-5 minutes.
  5. Remove the cooked steak and sauté minced garlic in the skillet for about a minute until fragrant.
  6. Pour in the heavy cream and let it simmer, then stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce thickens, about 3-5 minutes.
  7. Return the shrimp and steak to the skillet, tossing everything in the creamy sauce, then fold in the cooked fettuccine.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving immediately.

Notes

Ensure shrimp is fresh and properly deveined. Brown steak for a delicious crust and let sauce simmer for the best consistency.
