A rich and creamy dessert combining layers of fudge, fresh apples, and gooey caramel, perfect for autumn celebrations.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 medium apples, peeled and diced
  • 1/4 cup caramel sauce (plus extra for drizzling)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • Whipped cream (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar in a mixing bowl.
  3. Press the mixture into an 8×8 inch baking dish to form a crust.
  4. Bake the crust for 8-10 minutes until golden brown. Allow it to cool.
  5. Melt chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk in a saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth.
  6. Add vanilla extract and mix well.
  7. Pour the fudge mixture over the cooled crust.
  8. Mix diced apples with caramel sauce and cinnamon in a separate bowl.
  9. Spread the apple mixture over the fudge layer and press gently.
  10. Sprinkle chopped nuts on top if desired.
  11. Chill in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours until set.
  12. Cut into squares and drizzle with caramel and whipped cream before serving.

Notes

For deeper flavor development, allow the layers to set overnight. Make sure chocolate melts slowly to avoid a gritty texture.
