Delicious Cheesy Taco Sticks wrapped in flaky crescent rolls, filled with seasoned ground beef, cheese, and zesty salsa.

  • 1 can (8 oz) PillsburyTM refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 1 lb ground beef or turkey
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
  • ½ cup salsa
  • ¼ cup sliced black olives (optional)
  • ¼ cup chopped green onions (for garnish)
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Grease a baking sheet with cooking spray.
  3. Cook the ground beef or turkey in a skillet over medium heat until browned.
  4. Drain any excess fat and stir in the taco seasoning and salsa; simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
  6. Place a spoonful of the meat mixture on the wide end of each triangle, top with cheese and optional olives.
  7. Roll the triangles from the wide end, tucking in the filling.
  8. Arrange them seam-side down on the baking sheet.
  9. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden.
  10. Cool slightly, garnish with green onions, and serve with salsa.

Notes

For best results, keep the crescent dough chilled and allow the cheesy sticks to cool slightly before serving.
