Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/4 cup sour cream (for serving)
  • Optional: salsa for dipping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Brown 1 lb of ground beef in a skillet over medium heat and drain the excess fat.
  3. Sprinkle in the taco seasoning and stir until the meat is well-coated.
  4. Roll out the crescent roll dough on a lightly floured surface and separate it into triangles.
  5. Spoon a generous amount of the seasoned beef onto the wide end of each triangle.
  6. Sprinkle cheddar cheese and mozzarella cheese over the beef, followed by diced tomatoes and green onions.
  7. Roll each triangle from the wide end to the point, encasing the filling tightly.
  8. Place them on a greased baking sheet and bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Serve warm with sour cream and salsa for dipping.

Notes

Drain excess fat from the beef and roll the dough tightly to avoid filling escape. These sticks are great for appetizers and gatherings.
