A delightful light dessert that combines creamy cheesecake with the sweetness of cherries, perfect for gatherings or family dinners.

  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows (optional)
  • 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, start by beating the softened cream cheese until it’s smooth and creamy.
  2. Gradually add the sweetened condensed milk to the cream cheese, continuing to beat until everything is well combined.
  3. Next, fold in the thawed whipped topping gently.
  4. Carefully stir in the cherry pie filling and mini marshmallows (if using).
  5. Refrigerate the mixture for at least 1 hour.
  6. Just before serving, sprinkle the top of the dessert with graham cracker crumbs.

Notes

Use fresh cherries for a delightful twist and consider making it ahead as it stores well in the fridge for up to three days.
