A comforting casserole featuring tender chicken and fresh spinach enveloped in a creamy, cheesy sauce.

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup cooked rice or pasta
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix the shredded chicken and chopped spinach in a large bowl.
  3. Add the softened cream cheese, sour cream, mozzarella, half of the Parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir gently to combine.
  4. Fold in the cooked rice or pasta carefully.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish and spread evenly.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining Parmesan on top.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  8. Let it cool for a few moments before serving.

Notes

Ensure cream cheese is at room temperature for easy blending. Avoid overbaking to prevent dryness.
