  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup hazelnut spread
  • Chopped hazelnuts for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two 9-inch round cake pans.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Add eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract, blending until smooth.
  4. Slowly stir in boiling water until well combined.
  5. Pour the batter evenly into prepared pans and bake for 30-35 minutes.
  6. Let the cakes cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
  7. Lower the oven temperature to 325°F (160°C) for the cheesecake layer.
  8. Beat the cream cheese until smooth, then add powdered sugar, hazelnut spread, eggs, and vanilla extract; mix until fully combined.
  9. Pour the cheesecake mixture into a greased 9-inch cake pan and bake for 40-45 minutes.
  10. Allow the cheesecake to cool completely before removing from the pan.
  11. Whip heavy cream and powdered sugar until soft peaks form, then gently fold in hazelnut spread.
  12. Assemble the cake by layering chocolate cake, cheesecake, and another cake layer on top, frosting the entire cake with hazelnut whipped cream.
