  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1 box brownie mix
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips (for rolling)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the cookie dough layer by mixing butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy.
  2. Add milk and vanilla extract, and mix till combined.
  3. Gradually incorporate heat-treated flour until cohesive.
  4. Fold in mini chocolate chips.
  5. Roll dough into small balls and freeze for 30 minutes.
  6. Prepare brownie batter as instructed on the box.
  7. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and spread brownie batter in a baking pan.
  8. Place a frozen cookie dough ball in the center and cover with brownie batter.
  9. Bake for 18-22 minutes until toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Cool completely and roll in mini chocolate chips before serving.
