  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise

  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 slices American cheese
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Lettuce, tomato, and additional pickles for topping

Instructions

  1. Gather all your ingredients and tools.
  2. Combine the ground beef, finely chopped onions, pickle relish, mayonnaise, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  3. Divide the mixture into four equal portions and gently form them into patties, making a small indentation in the center of each.
  4. Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
  5. Carefully place the patties in the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
  6. Top each patty with a slice of American cheese in the last minute of cooking.
