Crispy Baked Cabbage Steaks are a delightful, nutritious option that are easy to make, featuring thick, juicy cabbage slices seasoned to perfection.

Ingredients

  • 1 head green cabbage
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Slice the cabbage into 3⁄4-inch thick steaks.
  4. Brush both sides of each cabbage steak with olive oil.
  5. Sprinkle garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper over each steak.
  6. Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  7. Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top a few minutes before serving.
