Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large russet potatoes
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Wash and peel the russet potatoes, then slice them into thin fries, about 1/4 inch thick.
  3. Soak the cut fries in cold water for at least 30 minutes to enhance crispiness.
  4. Drain and rinse the fries, and pat them thoroughly dry with a clean kitchen towel.
  5. Combine olive oil, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and paprika in a mixing bowl.
  6. Toss the dried fries in the bowl until they are evenly coated with the aromatic mixture.
  7. Spread the seasoned fries evenly across the prepared baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  9. Add the grated Parmesan cheese on top of the fries and return them to the oven for an additional 5 minutes.
  10. Garnish your crispy fries with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

Make sure to soak and dry your fries thoroughly for maximum crispiness. Avoid overcrowding the baking sheet for even cooking.
