Crispy Garlic Potato Pops are a flavor-packed explosion of comfort that can be enjoyed as a snack or side dish, featuring golden potato balls and a rich garlic butter sauce.

  • 2 large potatoes (peeled and cubed)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic granules
  • 1 teaspoon onion granules
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • 4 tablespoons cornflour (adjust as needed)
  • Cooking oil spray
  • 100 grams butter
  • 2 teaspoons garlic granules
  • Fresh parsley (a handful, chopped)

Instructions

  1. Peel and cube the two large potatoes.
  2. Boil them in salted water until fork-tender, about 15-20 minutes.
  3. Drain the potatoes well.
  4. Transfer the boiled potatoes to a mixing bowl and season with garlic granules, onion granules, paprika, and salt and pepper.
  5. Mash the seasoned potatoes until smooth and creamy.
  6. Add 4 tablespoons of cornflour and mix well until a thick dough forms.
  7. Roll the mixture into bite-sized balls and place them in the air fryer basket.
  8. Spray lightly with cooking oil.
  9. Set the air fryer to 200°C and cook for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket regularly.
  10. Combine 100 grams of butter, 2 teaspoons of garlic granules, and chopped parsley in a microwave-safe bowl.
  11. Melt in the microwave at 30-second intervals until fully liquid.
  12. Transfer the cooked potato pops to a serving bowl and drizzle with garlic butter.
  13. Toss gently to coat and serve immediately.

Notes

For best results, ensure potatoes are fork-tender. Optional: add grated cheese or herbs for enhanced flavor.
