A decadent dessert that combines dulce de leche with creamy mascarpone layers and coffee-soaked ladyfingers, dusted with cocoa powder.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup strong coffee, cooled
  • 1/2 cup dulce de leche
  • 1 package ladyfingers
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Cocoa powder for dusting

Instructions

  1. Start by brewing a cup of strong coffee and allow it to cool completely.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cooled coffee with the dulce de leche, whisking until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, whip the mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract together until stiff peaks form.
  4. Take your ladyfingers and immerse them briefly in the coffee-dulce de leche mixture.
  5. Layer these dipped ladyfingers in a serving dish to form the first layer.
  6. Spread a generous layer of the mascarpone mixture over the soaked ladyfingers.
  7. Repeat the layers, alternating between soaked ladyfingers and the mascarpone mixture, finishing with a final layer of mascarpone.
  8. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, ideally overnight.
  9. When ready to serve, dust the top with cocoa powder.

Notes

Allowing the tiramisu to chill overnight enhances the flavors. Be careful not to over-soak the ladyfingers.
