A delightful twist on the classic s’mores, these Fried S’mores Bombs feature a crispy pastry shell filled with gooey marshmallows and rich chocolate.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 12 large marshmallows
  • 12 squares of milk chocolate
  • 1 cup pancake mix
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 cup flour
  • Oil for frying
  • Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Instructions

  1. Start by heating the oil in a deep fryer or a large pot to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Take a square of milk chocolate and place it on top of a marshmallow.
  3. Next, roll the chocolate-filled marshmallow in graham cracker crumbs until fully coated.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix the pancake mix, flour, and water to create a thick batter.
  5. Dip each graham cracker-covered marshmallow into the batter, making sure it is fully coated.
  6. Carefully place the battered marshmallows into the hot oil and fry for about 2-3 minutes.
  7. Once fried, remove them from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate.
  8. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

For added texture, consider double coating the bombs after the first fry. You can also experiment with flavored chocolates or marshmallows for a unique twist.
