Juicy beef patties topped with crispy grilled onion rings and melted cheese, a perfect combination for your next family meal or barbecue.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
  • 2 large onions, sliced into thick rings
  • 4 slices of cheese (American, Swiss, or your favorite)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional condiments (mustard, ketchup)
  • Olive oil or cooking spray for grilling

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Coat with olive oil or cooking spray.
  2. Slice the large onions into ½ inch thick rings.
  3. Season the ground beef with salt and pepper. Form larger patties than onion rings.
  4. Grill the onion rings first for 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally.
  5. Place the beef patties on the grill, cooking 4-5 minutes per side. Add cheese on top.
  6. Assemble by placing one onion ring down, topping it with a cheesy beef patty, and capping with another onion ring.
  7. Serve hot with your choice of condiments.

Notes

Add seasoning like paprika or garlic powder for extra flavor. Experiment with different cheeses and garnishes for a gourmet touch.
