Hibachi Chicken is a delightful dish that brings the vibrant experience of Japanese teppanyaki to your dining table.

  • 1 lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon sesame oil (optional)
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons teriyaki sauce/mirin
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Sauce: In a bowl, combine soy sauce and teriyaki sauce/mirin. Set aside.
  2. Sauté the Garlic: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and melt the butter. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Cook the Chicken: Add chicken pieces to the skillet and toss with the garlic.
  4. Add the Sauce: Pour sauce mixture over the chicken, stirring to coat.
  5. Stir-Fry: Stir-fry for about 5 minutes until sauce thickens and chicken is cooked through.
  6. Finish Off: Drizzle sesame oil over the cooked chicken (if using) and serve hot.
