Homemade Sweet Pistachio Spread

A delightful spread combining roasted pistachios and sweet white chocolate, perfect for breakfast or a snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted shelled pistachios
  • ¾ cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1½ tablespoons oil (optional)
  • ⅓ cup water

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and spread pistachios on a baking sheet. Roast for about 6 minutes.
  2. Allow the roasted pistachios to cool to room temperature.
  3. Add the cooled roasted pistachios into a food processor and blend for 2–3 minutes until a coarse paste forms.
  4. Blend in white chocolate chips, sugar, salt, and water until smooth.
  5. Drizzle in oil while blending if a creamier texture is desired.
  6. Transfer the spread to an airtight container and refrigerate to deepen flavors.

Notes

Roast pistachios for maximum flavor; use dark chocolate as an alternative. Add spices like cardamom for extra warmth.
