A delightful dish that combines the sweetness of honey with the fiery kick of Sriracha, featuring juicy ground chicken and vibrant broccoli.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons Sriracha sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: Sesame seeds for garnish
  • Optional: Cooked rice for serving

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, and Sriracha sauce until well combined. Set aside.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add the ground chicken to the skillet. Use a wooden spoon to break it apart, cooking for about 5 to 7 minutes until no longer pink and lightly golden.
  4. Toss in the broccoli florets, stirring to combine. Cook for another 3 to 4 minutes until the broccoli is bright green and tender-crisp.
  5. Pour the honey-Sriracha sauce over the chicken and broccoli. Stir well to coat all the ingredients and cook for an additional 2 to 3 minutes.
  6. Adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with chopped green onions and garnish with sesame seeds if desired.
  7. Serve on its own or over a bed of cooked rice. Enjoy!

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the sauce for 30 minutes before cooking. Substitute broccoli with other vegetables like bell peppers or snap peas as desired.
