  • 2 cups cooked white rice
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 2 green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Mix together the soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, rice vinegar, and gochujang to create a flavorful marinade.

  4. Warm the cooked rice in the microwave or on the stove until hot.
  5. Layer a generous portion of rice at the bottom of a bowl or plate. Top with the cooked Korean BBQ beef.
  6. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions, enhancing the flavors and visual appeal.
  7. Serve immediately while hot.

Notes

For extra flavor, let the marinated beef sit for an hour before cooking. Customize with sautéed vegetables or other proteins if desired.
