  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon finely grated lemon peel
  • 1 teaspoon finely grated lime peel
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 can Pillsbury Creamy Supreme Vanilla Frosting
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice (for frosting)
  • 2 teaspoons lime juice (for frosting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a bundt or fluted tube pan.
  2. Combine the cake mix, sour cream, oil, eggs, lemon juice, lemon peel, and lime peel in a large bowl.
  3. Mix on low speed for 1 minute, then increase to medium speed for 2 minutes until well-blended.
  4. Spread the batter evenly in the prepared pan and bake for 40 to 44 minutes.
  5. Check doneness by inserting a toothpick— it should come out clean.
  6. Cool the cake in the pan for 15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  7. Prepare the frosting by microwaving the frosting with lemon and lime juice until drizzleable.
  8. Drizzle the frosting over the cooled cake and serve.
