  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup melted unsalted butter
  • 8 oz softened cream cheese
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup melted unsalted butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease an 8×8-inch baking dish.
  3. Combine graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, and melted butter in a medium bowl.
  4. Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of your prepared baking dish.
  5. Bake for about 10 minutes until golden.
  6. Beat softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  7. Spread this cream cheese mixture over the cooled crust.
  8. Whisk together brown sugar, melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and flour until combined.
  9. Fold in chopped pecans and pour over the cream cheese layer.
  10. Bake for 25-30 minutes until set and golden.
  11. Cool completely at room temperature; then refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  12. Top each slice with whipped cream and a sprinkle of chopped pecans before serving.
