A rich, buttery sauce infused with fresh herbs and spices that elevates any grilled steak.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 Garlic cloves, finely minced
  • 1 Shallot, small, finely minced
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Lemon, juiced
  • 2 tablespoons Parsley, finely chopped
  • 2 teaspoons Thyme, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh chives, finely chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 teaspoon Smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Fresh ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Start by placing 1/2 cup of unsalted butter in a medium-sized bowl. Microwave it in 30-second increments until completely melted.
  2. While the butter is melting, finely mince 4 garlic cloves and 1 small shallot. Once the butter is ready, combine the minced garlic and shallots with the melted butter, stirring to blend the flavors.
  3. Next, whisk in 1 1/2 tablespoons of Dijon mustard, the juice of 1 lemon, and 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce to the butter mixture. This will create a delightful tanginess that sets the foundation for your dipping sauce.
  4. Finely chop 2 tablespoons of parsley, 2 teaspoons of thyme, and 1 tablespoon of chives. Add these herbs to the buttery mixture, along with 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes, 1/4 teaspoon of smoked paprika, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of fresh ground black pepper.
  5. Whisk everything together until well-combined. You should have a smooth, fragrant sauce ready to elevate your steak.
  6. Finally, pour the sauce into attractive ramekins or serve it directly over your grilled steak for an irresistible presentation.

Notes

Elevate your sauce with balsamic vinegar or truffle oil for added depth.
