A delightful dessert combining juicy strawberries with a creamy cheesecake base, all under a buttery cake layer. Effortless and perfect for gatherings.

  • 1 can (21 oz) strawberry pie filling
  • 1 box (15.25 oz) white cake mix
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar (for dusting, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  3. Spread the strawberry pie filling evenly across the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  4. Beat the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture over the strawberry pie filling.
  6. Sprinkle the dry white cake mix over the cream cheese layer.
  7. Drizzle the melted butter over the top of the cake mix.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 45–50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the cake is set.
  9. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
  10. Dust with powdered sugar if desired before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, mix in crushed graham crackers or add fresh strawberries on top. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
