Creamy, velvety ice cream infused with luscious white chocolate bursts, perfect for cooling off or indulging after dinner.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips or chunks
  • Optional: a few drops of red food coloring

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the heavy cream, whole milk, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  2. Add red food coloring if desired and stir until the desired hue is achieved.
  3. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 60 minutes to enhance flavors.
  4. Pour the mixture into your ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions, about 20-25 minutes.
  5. Add the white chocolate chips or chunks during the last 5 minutes of churning.
  6. Transfer to a container and freeze until firm, approximately 240 minutes or overnight.

Notes

For a richer flavor, substitute half of the heavy cream with coconut milk. Experiment with various chocolate types and mix-ins for variety.
