Delightful Air Fryer Apple Fries coated in cinnamon-sugar, perfect for a healthy snack or dessert.

Ingredients

  • 2 large apples (Fuji or Gala)
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Peel and core the apples, then slice them into thin strips.
  3. Combine the flour, cinnamon, salt, and sugar in a small bowl.
  4. Dip each apple strip into the beaten egg, then coat with the cinnamon-sugar flour mixture.
  5. Arrange the apple fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  6. Lightly spray them with cooking spray or drizzle with melted butter.
  7. Air fry for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  8. Remove from air fryer and sprinkle with brown sugar if desired, then serve immediately.
