Crispy mozzarella sticks filled with spicy buffalo chicken, perfect for game nights or appetizers.

  • 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (Panko preferred)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Cooking spray
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Combine the shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, mozzarella cheese, and softened cream cheese in a bowl until well mixed.
  2. Setup your breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and a breadcrumb mixture with garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
  3. Shape the mixture into sticks, coating each in flour, then egg, and finally breadcrumbs.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and spray the basket with cooking spray.
  5. Arrange the sticks in a single layer in the air fryer and spray their tops with cooking spray.
  6. Air fry for 8-10 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Remove from the air fryer, let cool slightly, and garnish with parsley.
  8. Serve immediately with extra buffalo sauce or ranch dressing for dipping.

Notes

For added spice, mix in cayenne pepper. You can freeze shaped sticks for later cooking.
