A delightful dish of warm baked pears stuffed with creamy feta cheese, tangy dried cranberries, and drizzled with honey, creating a perfect balance of sweet and savory.

  • 4 ripe pears
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • Fresh thyme or rosemary for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cut the pears in half lengthwise and scoop out the core to create a well.
  3. Place the pear halves cut-side up on the baking sheet, drizzle olive oil over them, and sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg.
  4. Stuff each pear half with crumbled feta cheese and dried cranberries.
  5. Drizzle honey over the stuffed pears and bake for 25-30 minutes until tender and caramelized.
  6. Remove from oven, let cool briefly, and garnish with thyme or rosemary before serving warm.
