  • 1 lb Sirloin steak
  • 2 tbsp Fresh basil, leaves
  • 1 cup Cherry tomatoes
  • 1 Corn, on the cob
  • 2 heads Endive lettuce
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic powder
  • 6 cups Mixed spring greens
  • 1 tbsp Lemon zest
  • 2 tbsp Fresh parsley
  • 1/2 Red onion
  • 5 tbsp Balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper, ground
  • 1/2 tsp Coarse salt
  • 1 Dash Salt and fresh ground black pepper
  • 1/3 cup Extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 oz Gorgonzola cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Season the steak generously with salt and black pepper, then grill for about 4-5 minutes per side.
  3. Grill the corn, turning occasionally until cooked through and charred, approximately 10 minutes.
  4. Prepare the vinaigrette by whisking together balsamic vinegar, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, lemon zest, and olive oil, then season with salt and pepper.
  5. Mix the salad by tossing together mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, sliced red onion, and grilled corn, then drizzle vinaigrette over and toss to combine.
  6. Assemble the salad by layering sliced steak over the mixture, then topping with crumbled Gorgonzola cheese and herbs.
