Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb Sirloin steak
  • 2 tbsp Fresh basil, leaves
  • 1 cup Cherry tomatoes
  • 1 Corn, on the cob
  • 2 heads Endive lettuce
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic powder
  • 6 cups Mixed spring greens
  • 1 tbsp Lemon zest
  • 2 tbsp Fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 Red onion
  • 5 tbsp Balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper, ground
  • 1/2 tsp Coarse salt
  • 1 Dash Salt and fresh ground black pepper
  • 1/3 cup Extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 oz Gorgonzola cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat, ensuring a blistering sear that locks in flavor.
  2. Season the steak generously with salt and black pepper, then grill for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare. Remove it to rest for a few minutes.
  3. Place the corn on the grill and let it char for about 10 minutes, turning occasionally until golden. Remove the kernels from the cob.
  4. Whisk together balsamic vinegar, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, lemon zest, and olive oil in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Toss mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, sliced red onion, and grilled corn in a large bowl. Drizzle the vinaigrette over and toss to combine.
  6. Layer sliced steak over the salad, followed by crumbled Gorgonzola cheese and chopped parsley.
  7. Serve immediately for the best flavor experience.

Notes

Let the steak rest after grilling to maintain juiciness. Use fresh herbs for maximum flavor.
