A comforting and indulgent breakfast pizza topped with creamy sausage gravy, fresh eggs, and melty cheddar cheese, perfect for family gatherings.

  • 1 package refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1/2 pound crumbled breakfast sausage
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions (optional)
  • 2 eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Press the refrigerated biscuit dough into a pizza pan to form a crust.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat and crumble in the breakfast sausage, browning it until fully cooked.
  4. Stir in the flour, allowing it to soak up the sausage juices.
  5. Gradually add in the milk, stirring until the gravy thickens.
  6. Season the gravy with salt and pepper.
  7. Pour the sausage gravy over the biscuit crust.
  8. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  9. Crack the eggs gently onto the pizza, spacing them evenly.
  10. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the eggs are cooked to your preference.
  11. Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped green onions, if using.

Notes

For a healthier version, use whole wheat biscuit dough or turkey sausage. Don’t overwork the biscuit dough for flakiness.
