  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup water
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Butterfinger candy bars, chopped
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup Butterfinger candy bars, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and flour a 10-inch Bundt pan.
  2. Combine the chocolate cake mix, sour cream, melted butter, water, eggs, and vanilla extract in a large mixing bowl. Mix until smooth.
  3. Fold in the chopped Butterfinger pieces until evenly distributed.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared Bundt pan.
  5. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  7. Heat the heavy cream in a small saucepan, then pour over the chocolate chips and stir until smooth to make the ganache.
  8. Drizzle the ganache over the cooled cake and top with additional chopped Butterfinger pieces.
