A delightful dish of tender shrimp and juicy steak enveloped in a creamy, garlicky Alfredo sauce, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye), sliced into strips
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil, divided
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to the package instructions. Once cooked, drain it and set aside.
  2. Coat the shrimp with 1 tablespoon of Cajun seasoning in a bowl, ensuring each piece is well-seasoned.
  3. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp, cooking for 2-3 minutes per side until they are pink and opaque, then remove them from the skillet and set aside.
  4. Add the remaining 2 tablespoons of olive oil to the same skillet. Sear the steak strips, seasoning them with the remaining Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook for about 4-5 minutes or until they reach your desired doneness, then remove the steak and set aside.
  5. Lower the heat and add the minced garlic to the skillet, sautéing until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  6. Pour in the heavy cream and allow it to simmer gently. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, mixing until the sauce thickens beautifully.
  7. Return the cooked shrimp and steak to the skillet, tossing them in the creamy sauce. Gently fold in the cooked fettuccine, ensuring every strand is coated in the luscious sauce.
  8. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

For best flavor, use fresh ingredients. Don’t overcrowd the pan when cooking shrimp or steak to ensure they sear beautifully.
