A delightful dessert that combines a fudgy brownie base with a creamy cheesecake layer, topped with luxurious caramel.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 box of brownie mix (or homemade recipe)
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 24 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan and line the bottom with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the brownie batter according to package instructions or your favorite homemade recipe, then spread it evenly across the bottom of the pan.
  3. Bake the brownie layer for about 20 minutes, then remove it and let it cool slightly.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth. Add the vanilla extract and gradually mix in the eggs, one at a time, followed by the sour cream.
  5. Pour the cheesecake batter over the brownie layer, then drizzle the caramel sauce on top, swirling it gently for a marble effect.
  6. Return the pan to the oven and bake for 50-60 minutes until the edges are set but the center is slightly jiggly.
  7. Turn off the oven, let the cheesecake cool inside with the door slightly ajar for about an hour.
  8. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.

Notes

Consider adding sea salt on top of the caramel drizzle for a sweet-salty contrast, or mix in chocolate chips for extra chocolate flavor.
