  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons corn syrup
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Melt the unsalted butter over medium heat in a small saucepan.
  3. Add the packed brown sugar, corn syrup, and a pinch of salt, stirring until dissolved.
  4. Incorporate the heavy cream into the mixture and stir until smooth, then let cool slightly.
  5. Whisk the eggs together with the vanilla extract in a large mixing bowl.
  6. Gradually pour the cooled sugar mixture into the eggs while whisking constantly.
