Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning mix
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 medium tomato, diced
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup salsa

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and break it apart with a spatula. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until browned.
  2. Stir in the taco seasoning mix. Pour in water and let it simmer for 3-5 minutes until thick.
  3. Warm the tortillas in a separate pan or microwave for 15-20 seconds until soft.
  4. Assemble taco pockets by placing a scoop of beef mixture in each tortilla and topping with cheddar cheese.
  5. Fold the tortillas into pockets, rolling tightly, and cook seam-side down in a greased skillet for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  6. Serve hot with salsa and sour cream for dipping. Enjoy!

Notes

Use fresh ingredients and adequately season your filling. Remember to warm tortillas to prevent breakage.
