Delightful burritos filled with seasoned beef, creamy nacho cheese, and crunchy Doritos, perfect for family dinners or gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 cup nacho cheese sauce
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 can Rotel (green chilis with diced tomatoes)
  • 1/2 cup chopped green peppers
  • 1/2 cup diced onions
  • 1 packet taco seasoning mix
  • Nacho cheese-flavored Doritos, crushed
  • 4 large flour tortilla wraps
  • Shredded lettuce

Instructions

  1. Start by browning the lean ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  2. After about 5-7 minutes, drain any excess fat.
  3. Next, add the diced onions and chopped green peppers to the skillet and sauté for about 4 minutes.
  4. Sprinkle the taco seasoning mix and stir well to combine.
  5. In another bowl, combine the Rotel and nacho cheese sauce.
  6. Lay the flour tortillas flat and spoon the nacho cheese mixture down the center of each tortilla.
  7. Top with the seasoned beef, sour cream, onions, green peppers, and crushed Doritos.
  8. Carefully fold the sides of the tortillas inward and roll them up to seal.
  9. Heat a bit of oil in the skillet again and place the burritos seam-side down to toast until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes each side.
  10. Serve immediately with shredded lettuce and any desired toppings.

Notes

Avoid overfilling the tortillas to prevent tearing. Experiment with extra veggies for added nutrition.
