A creamy, cheesy dip loaded with savory sausage and melted cheeses, perfect for gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450g) ground sausage
  • 1 8 oz block cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 can (10 oz) Rotel diced tomatoes with green chilies, drained
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground sausage, breaking it apart as it sizzles. Allow it to brown for about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Lower the heat slightly and add the softened cream cheese to the sausage. Stir well until melted.
  3. Next, sprinkle in the cheddar and mozzarella cheeses. Add the drained Rotel, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and black pepper. Stir until melted and creamy.
  4. Once combined, remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
  5. Serve immediately alongside tortilla chips, crackers, or fresh veggies. Enjoy!

Notes

For extra heat, consider adding chili powder or hot sauce. Smoked sausage can also add a unique flavor.
