A delightful fusion of flavors featuring rotini pasta, ground beef, and creamy cheddar cheese, reminiscent of a classic cheeseburger.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz rotini pasta
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Boil a pot of water and add a pinch of salt, then cook the rotini pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the ground beef, browning it nicely.
  3. Drain any excess fat and add chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté until the onion is translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Stir in ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, beef broth, salt, and black pepper. Bring to a gentle simmer and cook for about 5 minutes.
  5. Combine the cooked rotini with the sauce, ensuring pasta is well-coated.
  6. Remove from heat and sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top, allowing it to melt.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

Avoid overcooking the pasta and ground beef. For healthier options, substitute with lean turkey or chicken, and whole grain pasta.
