A creamy and nutty cheese ball featuring a delightful blend of cream cheese, cheddar, dried cranberries, and pecans, perfect for festive gatherings.

  • 8 oz softened cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped green onions
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Extra pecans for coating

Instructions

  1. Combine the softened cream cheese with the shredded cheddar cheese in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Sprinkle in the chopped dried cranberries and pecans.
  3. Add in the finely chopped green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Use your hands to gently form the mixture into a ball shape.
  5. Roll the formed cheese ball in the additional chopped pecans until coated.
  6. Wrap the cheese ball tightly in plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  7. Serve with an assortment of crackers, baguette slices, or fresh fruit.

Notes

For a richer flavor, consider chilling the cheese ball overnight. Always use softened cream cheese for a smooth mixture.
