A quick and simple dish featuring tender salmon and shrimp in a luscious, creamy garlic sauce that is perfect for family dinners or cozy evenings at home.

  • 2 salmon fillets
  • 12 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup of heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup of chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon of lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon of dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Prepare the skillet: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season the proteins: Generously season the salmon fillets and shrimp with salt, pepper, and dried thyme.
  3. Cook the salmon: Place the salmon fillets in the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. Sauté the shrimp: In the same skillet, cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side until pink.
  5. Create the garlic sauce: Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 30 seconds.
  6. Build the sauce: Pour in the chicken broth and lemon juice, then stir in the heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese until thickened.
  7. Combine the ingredients: Return the salmon and shrimp to the skillet and spoon the sauce over them.
  8. Garnish and serve: Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Be careful not to overcook the seafood. Use a fish spatula for flipping salmon to prevent breaking.
