A delightful blend of moist yellow cake soaked in a sweet, creamy caramel and condensed milk mixture, topped with whipped cream and crunchy pecans.

  • 1 box (15.25 oz) yellow cake mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Additional chopped pecans for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Combine the yellow cake mix with the eggs and water; mix until smooth.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared dish and bake for 30-35 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  4. Allow the cake to cool for about 10 minutes, then poke holes all over the warm cake.
  5. Mix together the sweetened condensed milk and caramel sauce; drizzle over the warm cake.
  6. Cool completely and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
  7. Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form.
  8. Spread the whipped cream over the chilled cake and garnish with pecans and caramel sauce.

Notes
