Delightful tarts featuring a crisp crust, airy meringue, and juicy strawberries, perfect for any occasion.

  • 1 pre-made tart crust
  • 4 large egg whites
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar
  • Fresh mint leaves (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Blind-bake the tart crust for 10-12 minutes until lightly golden.
  3. Beat the egg whites in a large mixing bowl until soft peaks form. Gradually add granulated sugar and continue beating until stiff peaks form, then add vanilla extract.
  4. Spoon or pipe the meringue onto the cooled tart crust.
  5. Bake the meringue for 15-20 minutes until golden and fluffy.
  6. Allow the tart to cool, then layer with sliced strawberries, dust with powdered sugar, and garnish with mint leaves.

Notes

Ensure mixing bowl and beaters are clean and dry. Gradually add sugar to the meringue for best results.
