Crispy Bang Bang Salmon Bites are succulent salmon pieces coated in a golden, crispy exterior served with a creamy, spicy Bang Bang sauce, perfect for any occasion.

  • 1 1/2 pounds salmon fillets (skin removed, cut into bite-sized pieces)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup Thai sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice (freshly squeezed)
  • Fresh parsley or cilantro, chopped (for garnish)
  • Green onions, sliced (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare the baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper or lightly greasing it.
  3. Season the salmon pieces with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
  4. Arrange the seasoned salmon pieces in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake the salmon for 10-12 minutes, or until cooked through and crispy.
  6. Prepare the Bang Bang sauce by whisking together mayonnaise, Thai sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and lime juice in a small bowl.
  7. Coat the salmon bites in the Bang Bang sauce when they come out of the oven.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley or cilantro, green onions, and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

Use fresh salmon for the best results, and consider letting the salmon sit with seasonings before baking for enhanced flavor.
