Delightful and easy-to-prepare chicken tenders with a crunchy texture and cheesy, savory seasoning.

  • 1 pound chicken tenders
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup crushed cornflakes
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Cooking spray or oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Combine buttermilk, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Add chicken tenders to the marinade and let sit for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  4. Mix flour, crushed cornflakes, and cheddar cheese in another bowl.
  5. Remove chicken from marinade and dredge in the flour mixture.
  6. Place coated tenders on the baking sheet and spray lightly with cooking spray or drizzle with oil.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until chicken is cooked and coating is golden brown.
  8. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

For extra crunch, pulse cornflakes for a finer texture. Use a meat thermometer to ensure chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
