  • 12 oz mozzarella cheese sticks
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • Marinara sauce for serving

Instructions

  1. Cut the mozzarella cheese sticks in half to create bite-sized portions.
  2. Set up a breading station with three bowls: one for flour, one for beaten eggs, and one for breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder and Italian seasoning.
  3. Dip each cheese stick into the flour, then into the beaten eggs, and finally into the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Freeze the breaded cheese sticks for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan to around 350°F.
  6. Fry the cheese sticks in batches for about 1-2 minutes per side until golden brown.
  7. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
  8. Serve warm with marinara sauce.
