Crispy Baked Parmesan Garlic Fries are a delicious side dish that combines fluffy potatoes with a crunchy exterior, infused with garlic and Parmesan cheese.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large russet potatoes
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Wash and peel the russet potatoes, then slice them into thin fries, about 1/4 inch thick.
  3. Soak the cut fries in cold water for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Drain and rinse the fries, and pat them thoroughly dry with a clean kitchen towel.
  5. Combine olive oil, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and paprika in a mixing bowl.
  6. Toss the dried fries in the bowl until they are evenly coated with the seasoning mixture.
  7. Spread the seasoned fries across the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  9. Add the grated Parmesan cheese on top and return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes.
  10. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

For the best results, ensure fries are soaked adequately to remove excess starch. Dry thoroughly after soaking and do not overcrowd the baking sheet.
