A luxurious seafood dish featuring succulent lobster tails in a creamy garlic sauce, perfect for special occasions.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 lobster tails (5 to 6 oz each)
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp butter (for sauce)
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 garlic clove, minced (for sauce)
  • Chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your broiler to high. While it heats, take the lobster tails and carefully cut the top shell lengthwise, pulling the meat slightly upward, allowing it to peek out.
  2. Combine the melted butter, minced garlic, smoked paprika, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. Whisk until well mixed.
  3. Brush the butter mixture generously over the exposed lobster meat, ensuring every nook and cranny is coated.
  4. Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet and broil for about 8-10 minutes. The meat should turn opaque and develop a light golden brown color.
  5. Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the flour and stir for one minute to create a roux.
  6. Whisk in the heavy cream gradually, stirring continuously until it thickens.
  7. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and the additional minced garlic, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste. Cook until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
  8. Serve the perfectly broiled lobster with the luscious cream sauce drizzled over top and garnish with fresh chopped parsley.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a splash of lemon zest to the butter mixture or a pinch of red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
