  • 4 Boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 3 packs of instant ramen noodles
  • 8 cups chicken broth
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 2 tablespoons chili paste (or to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon mirin (optional)
  • 1 cup sliced green onions
  • 1 cup bean sprouts
  • 2 boiled eggs, halved
  • Salt to taste
  • Optional toppings: Sliced jalapeños, sesame seeds, lime wedges, fresh cilantro

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken thighs in soy sauce, sriracha, and ground black pepper for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat, cook the marinated chicken thighs for about 5-7 minutes on each side until browned.
  3. Remove the chicken and let it rest before slicing.
  4. Add minced garlic and grated ginger to the same skillet and sauté for about 2 minutes.
  5. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a gentle simmer.
  6. Stir in the chili paste, sesame oil, and mirin (if using) and let it simmer for about 10 minutes.
  7. Cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions, then drain.
  8. Melt butter in a small saucepan, add minced garlic, and cook until fragrant. Stir in heavy cream and simmer until slightly thickened.
  9. Add the sliced chicken, cooked ramen noodles, and bean sprouts to the broth.
  10. Serve in bowls, ladle creamy garlic sauce on top, and garnish with optional toppings.
